Privacy

Short version: we collect the minimum needed to decide whether to invite you, and we do not sell or share it.

What we collect

When you submit the register-interest form we store:

  • Your name and email address, so we can reply.
  • Your LinkedIn username or profile URL, so we can confirm you are a real person and get a sense of what you work on.
  • The free-text message you write.
  • Technical anti-abuse data: a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself), your browser user-agent string, and the time of submission.

Why we collect it

Solely to assess your enquiry and, if you are invited, to contact you. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest: running a small invitation-only event requires knowing who is asking to attend. We do not use your data for marketing, profiling or advertising.

Anti-abuse processing

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes limited technical signals to distinguish people from bots. Cloudflare acts as our processor for this. No Turnstile data is used to identify you personally.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are retained for 12 months after we make a decision on them, then deleted. If you are invited and attend, your contact details are kept for as long as you remain part of the group — you can ask us to remove them at any time.

Who can see it

Only the Snowcode organisers. Enquiries are stored in our own database on Cloudflare infrastructure and are not shared with sponsors, other attendees, or any third party. We do not sell data.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will action it within 30 days.

Cookies

The public site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. The admin area uses a session cookie for authentication only.

Contact

Snowcode is organised by Goblinfactory Limited. For any privacy question, use the register form and state that your enquiry is about data — it reaches the same person.
